Why I built this.

When I was writing my first chapter book, everyone told me it was amazing. Friends, family, everyone. And I believed them — of course I did. It was my first book. I had my author goggles on.

Then one guy I met in public told me my book had no plot. Not to be mean. Just honest. I had to rewrite the whole thing.

I wasn't mad at him. I was mad that I'd wasted months getting nothing but "it's great!" from everyone around me, just to have one stranger be the first person to tell me the truth.

That's why I built Ruthless Mentor. So you don't have to wait six months and a random encounter to find out what's actually wrong.
